Ihr könnt Eure Gästebucheinträge hier einfach als Kommentar hinterlassen.

Ich möchte euch bitten, das Gästebuch nicht für Fragen zu nutzen, sondern nur um Eure Kommentare zu meinem Blog zu hinterlassen. Ich reg mich über EA auf - Posts werden gelöscht.

Ich werde nicht jeden einzelnen Beitrag kommentieren, freue mich aber jederzeit über Anregungen.

Zur Beantwortung von Fragen, bitte ich euch ein Forum zu verwenden. Bitte beachtet dazu diesen Post: Neue Regeln.

Toll, was Du Dir hier für eine Arbeit machst, anderen beim Sims3 Spiel zu helfen. dein blog ist super übersichtlich und alles wird einem erklärt. Genau das richtige für Dummies, wie mich^^. EA sollte dich am Umsatz beteiligen, denn du bewahrst sicher viele Sims 3ler davor, das Spiel endgültig in die Ecke zu werfen (keine weiteren EPs zu kaufen).

schaue fast täglich vorbei ob es neues gibt und schätze und bewundere deine arbeit sehr !!!

dank den ganzen tipps und verlinkten foren läuft auch mein spiel endlich (wieder) reibungslos :-)

ich hoffe es klappt dann auch noch mit dem storyprog von twallan *seufz*, der lief auch schon mal ganz toll und nun will er nicht :-(
meine probierstadt ist sunset valley, aber egal ob ich neu starte oder die vorhandene familie nehme, der mod will grad nicht *hmmm*

bau ich halt weiter an meiner stadt und erfreu mich ohne absturz und probleme, auch meine dl´s die ich sorgfälltig prüfe *gg*, nutzen zu können ;-)

vielen Dank für deine tolle Seite und deine Mühe bei Erläuterung der Probleme bzw. Lösungen der Probleme. Die Liste mit den "kaputten" Simsklamotten hat mir wirklich sehr geholfen. Bin so einen Großteil der Sachen losgeworden die mich schon lange beim Spielen stören. Allein das Löschen dieser Inhalte hat ziemlich lang gedauert und man merkt dabei wieviel Zeit und Mühe es dich gekostet haben muss diese Liste zu erstellen. Auch so habe ich einige Tipps gefunden. (Auf deine Seite bin ich aufmerksam geworden, weil mir jemand im Simforum deinen Link geschickt hat.)
Danke durch dich funktioniert alles wesentlich besser, auch wenn ich manche Dinge nicht kapiere. ;-)

Finde diese Änderung gut! das hier ist ja ein Hilfe Blog und kein Forum, es gibt wirklich genug Foren in denen man Hilfe bekommt, aber nur diesen einen Blog der alles so ausführlich auflistet und bei dem das Abarbeiten bekannter Probleme mehr als einfach ist.

Man muss halt nur selber auch ein bißchen was tun und suchen und lesen, was geschrieben steht.
Aber manche stehen wohl auf dem Standpunkt, sie müssten bei allen Problemen beim Händchen genommen werden, damit sie auch kapieren, was gemeint ist. Wenn sie die Lösung ihrer Probs nicht gleich auf dem Silberteller kriegen wollen.
Klar, dass du da die Notbremse ziehen musst - schließlich gibt es ja auch noch ein Privatleben.

Vor allem deine Modliste ist sehr hilfreich.

Das du kein Einzelsupport leisten kannst ist verständlich. In Foren gibt es schließlich mehr Leute die sich um Probleme kümmern können. Wenn du dich jedem Problem das jemand hat widmen würdest, hättest du wohl für nichts anderes mehr Zeit.

Also lass dich nicht ärgern und mache bitte weiter wie bisher!

Tut mir leid, dass ich dich so oft nerve aber ich habe wieder eine frage..
hängt es mit dem EADM zusammen, wenn ich mein spiel nicht mehr patchen kann?
ich hab es (nach deiner anleitung) deinstalliert und es hat alles geklappt (danke!!) aber mein EADM ist kaputt (war es schon länger) und heute ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich mein spiel nicht mehr patchen kann: ich drücke im simlauncher auf "jetzt aktualisieren" aber es reagiert nicht.
soll ich mir eine ältere version von EADM holen (mir wurde berichtet, dass die neueste nicht gut ist)? Und wenn ja, weißt du wo ich mir die ältere version sicher runterladen kann?

Allein bei dem Gedanken wie zeitaufwendig das alles sein muss gerate ich ins Schwitzen.
Ich hoffe du kommst trotzdem auch noch zum Spielen.

Dein Hilfe Blog ist jedenfalls das Beste das einem Simsspieler passieren kann und bei den meisten vermutlich Anlaufstelle Nr. 1 wenns mal wieder Probleme gibt. Ich finde EA könnte dir ruhig mal einen Batzen Simoleons überweisen.

Hier ist alles so super erklärt, so dass auch ein PC-Saurier wie ich klar kommt. Egal ob Monsterbabys oder blaue Felder im Spiel sind oder ob es nach Einspielen eines neuen EP plötzlich Probleme gibt, bisher habe ich es mit Deiner Hilfe immer geschafft. Dafür danke ich von ganzen Herzen. Ich hoffe sehr, Du findest auch weiterhin die Zeit, diese doch sehr mühevolle und aufwendige Arbeit für uns andere Simser zu schaffen

The Dashboard tutorial and some of the others tool ones are not 100% up-to-date. You might want to check back from time to time if I have updated them. That won't be before middle of September though.

mir gefällt Dein Blog sehr gut,weil alle Fehler hier drinnen stehen :)(ohne Deine Hilfe wäre mein Spiel jetzt schon zum 5. Mal deinstallier worden)
Und weil Du auch Bildmaterial hernimmst,was sehr nützlich ist,außerdem gibst Du immer alles an egal ob Windows 7,xp oder vista ;)

Ich weiß man sollte hier keine Fragen stellen aber ich weiß nicht wen ich sonst Fragen soll:
Mein Sims 3 hatte nach dem Download von der Tier Demo auch das Problem,was ich dank Deinem Blog wieder beheben konnte :)
Leider wurden wie Du schon geschrieben hast alle Store Sachen und alle Kleidungen und Accessoires gelöscht die sich innerhalb von ca 2 Jahren angesammelt haben... :(
Ich dachte mir,gottseidank habe ich noch die Sims mit den Kleidern den Accesoires und dem Make-Up bei den Uploads (allerdings noch nicht hochgeladen)deswegen wollte ich sie hochladen doch es ging nicht...
Kann ich vlt. irgendwie mit dir Kontakt aufnehmen oder kannst du meinen Kommentar kommentieren?

I'm having "distorted" cats and dogs at The Sims 3 Pets, on the other hand, horses are fine, no problem with them. Ohh and dissapearing dogs too.

My specs are Core 2 Duo 2.8ghz, 3 gb RAM and an integrated graphic card Nvidia geforce 7100 256mb turbocache.

Turning advanced rendering on solved the problem but dogs still dissapear.

So people should be able to run the game with an ATI Xpress, such as a 1250 and a Nvidia Turbocache, without a problem.

Nice to see other people being able to run the game properly, perhaps they are using other variants of the same video card. The Intel gma 4 series has 3 variants, one more powerful than the other, not by a wide margin but still they make a significant difference.

I gonna assume that the distorted pets animations, misaligned faces and body and horses's eyes with no color and other issues are glitches, because these two video cards are supported.

Sure, requirements increased. But since they haven't updated them both on the game box and the site, they are still supported or at least should be.

Well, lets wait the patch. But please, would you include these two video cards on your list of cards having these issues?

So people can pay attention to not buy the game if they have these video cards, at least until the patch is released and if all these issues are adressed.

As you can see integrated ATI Xpress variants such as the x1250, 1270 are supported. And integrated Nvidia geforce turbocache variants such as the Nvidia geforce 7050, 7100 and others are supported.

Yes, dedicated memory is important but not necessary a must to run the game. The Intel gma 4 series does not have dedicated memory.

Most Integrated graphic cards do not have dedicated memory, they share from the same principal memory. For example, if you have 4GB of RAM and the game asks 256mb of video memory, the integrated video card will automatically take it for itself from the 4GB of ram pool.

On the other hand, all discrete video cards, the ones that are separated from the motherboard, the ones you buy and plug onto the motherboard. These ones have dedicated memory, they have their own memory, do not need to take memory from the system, thats what makes them faster than integrated ones.

Every card today from about '03 can deliver 128mb of graphic memory, still ol' cards that aren't listed as supported aren't reliable to run the game.

There is diffence between dedicated and shared memory, but nothing to worry about nor does it needs further explanation. People just need to be sure that their systems meet (and exceed, in the case they have more than 1 expansion) the new system requirements.

Anyway, following the new system requirements, there is other video cards that are experiencing those ugly glitches, dissapearing pets and such:

ATI Xpress 1150, Geforce 7025, Geforce 7050, Intel gma 3 series 3100 and X3100, which is a mobile variant, Intel gma 4 series mobile.

The 1.26 patch from 1.24 really does not have a digital signature or it just happened with me? I downloaded it from here: http://www.sims3cri.com/en/patch-ts3/995-patch-126-windows127-mac.html?start=1

No matter what, I think theres no problem with no digital signatures, right? It came from an EA site after all.

Ohh, I almost forgot, the geforce 7150 display these issues as well.

I hope they fix things with the next patch. I can't replace the video card, its solded at the motherboard and there is no other slot to put a new one.

Yes only EA can answer this. Just for curiosity, I found that the patchs that comes with the Generations EP and Town Life Stuff SP does not have a digital signature as well. Maybe other EP's and SP's dvd versions'patchs does not come with a digital signature as well, but I will have to ask around.

If I hear about any other graphics cards experiencing these pets issues, I'll tell you.

Surfing around the EA site I saw that a Geforce 120GT, ATI Xpress 1150, Geforce 7025, Geforce 7050, and the Geforce 7150. All have one or another of those pesky problems.

And ahh, if you want to update the "Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset" part to list the Intel GMA-3 series, like the 3100 and X3100. It would be easier for people figure out what that chipset thing means.

We don't know which errors are going to be patched and which not. There are enough threads in many forums to discuss this and as I said to the person above, it's the dedicated memory that is important. I'm not going to add every single card that has the issue (and there's more than one issue).

I'm not going to approve any further comments on this issue. If I feel it's important to add other cards, I will do that, otherwise everyone will need to wait for the patch or contact EA themselves.
